Veronica S. Martinez
Verónica MartÃnez is a last year PhD student at the group of Systems and Synthetic Biology at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology of The University of Queensland. She received her degree on Biotechnology Engineering in 2007 at the University of Chile. Her research interest is in the study of mammalian cell metabolism. In the use of omics datasets and thermodynamic principles with Genome Scale Models to produce metabolic flux distributions that represent the real cell phenotype. Moreover, her focus is in the development of computational tools for metabolic systems biology.
