Nagasuma Chandra
Dr. Nagasuma Chandra is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India and also affiliated with Bioinformatics and Mathematical biology initiatives at the institute. NC has a B.Pharm and M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacognosy from Bangalore, India and a PhD in structural biology from University of Bristol, UK.
NC's laboratory studies genome-scale molecular networks at multiple levels from systems to protein structures to understand global features that are important to the pathogen, changes that occur in the host and the pathogen upon infection including metabolic reprogramming and obtaining insights from these analyses to drug discovery.
