Research Interests:
1. Her team made groundbreaking contribution to our knowledge of nanozyme that Fe3O4 nanoparticles having an intrinsic peroxidase-like activity (Nature Nanotechnology, 2007), which open a promising field towards the development of nanozyme. Based on this finding, they developed several new technologies for tumor diagnosis and therapy (Nature Nanotechnology, 2012) as well as detection and treatment of phenolic wastewater.
2. She discovered that CD146 is a biomarker for angiogenesis and plays a key role in tumor metastasis (Blood,2003), illustrated the mechanism of CD146 in angiogenesis (Nature Communication 2014, Blood 2012, PNAS 2012) and developed a therapeutic humanized antibody targeting CD146, which has been in pre-clinical trial to treat tumors.
