David P. Millar
Dr. David Millar is a Professor in the Department of Integrative Structural and Computational Biology at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California, USA. Prior to joining the Scripps faculty, David was a Queen Elizabeth II Fellow at the University of Sydney, Australia. David’s research group is involved in the development and application of advanced fluorescence spectroscopic technology for the study of biological systems. A major current focus is in development of single-molecule fluorescence methods to visualize dynamic conformational changes of G protein-coupled receptors. Other areas of interest include the structural dynamics of DNA replication enzymes and RNA-protein complexes involved in the life cycle of HIV-1.
