Yuedong Yang
Yuedong Yang is a Research Fellow in the institute for Glycomics, Griffith University in Australia. Before joining Griffith University in Jun 2013, he was a postdoc since Sep 2006, and later promoted to Research Assistant Professor on May 2011 in school of Informatics, Indiana University (IUPUI), USA. He received his PhD degree in the computational biology from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2006. His current research interests include (1) Virtual ligand screening, (2) Classification of Human Genetic Variations, (3) Protein Structure Prediction and Refinement, (4) Protein function prediction, and (5) Protein interaction with other protein, DNA, RNA, Carbohydrate, and small ligand molecules. In his short academical career, he has published 25 publications in PNAS, Genome Bio., NAR, Bioinformatics, etc. Over the years, he has been actively involved in community services within the field of computational biology and bioinformatics. He currently reviews about 10 articles annually for more than 5 journals.
