INTRODUCTION:Systematic investigations (2014-1970) about A. philosophy of biophysics& (psycho-)physiology, B. myocytes, C. cardio-vascular/CV, D. urogenital-systems/UG demonstrate necessity of application of physiology in biophysical education&research& vice-versa, building fundamentals for biology-medicine-ecology-psychology.

RESULTS (recent, related to earlier):
A. Moral-philosophy/scientific-theory in biophysics&(psycho-)physiology: Observations on patients-probands (n=70) about positive-effects after respiratory/sport-&music-therapy (heart/negative chronotropic-effect, blood-pressure&respiratory-frequency-decrease, increased psychic-items: relaxed-clear,etc.). Open-questions=OQ: Electro-&molecular oscillatory-mechanisms of myocytes & neurons for these effects?
B. Myocytes. Electrical-activity of guinea-pig=GP/rat portal-vein, GP/human detrusor(n=120). Vascular-myocytes: Pentobarbital/procaine/ tetracaine (0.1-1mM)/ouabaine (10µM) change electrical-spikes/burst-patterns into pathological-ones: spikes-discharge/rate-of-rise/fall-decrease, antagonized by [Ca]-increase. Detrusor -myocytes. Mechano-sensitive ion-channel-activation (Ca-activated-K: 3-80mN): Spikes-transformation (63.29±4.96/min) into burst-plateaus (1.54±1.18/min), spikes-rate-rise- (RR:0.41±0.19/3.27±0.76V/sec)& -fall-increase (RF:0.43±0.28/2.32±0.58V/sec). OQ: Importance of mesomorphic-states (nematic-smectic-cholesteric) & ferro-piezo-pyrroelectric resp. for electrical-phenomena?

CV: (a) Rhythmical-contractions of fish-heart (salmo-gairdneri,n=55), (b) blood-vessels (rat-aorta/portal-vein, human-renal-/uterine-arteries/veins/surgical-tissue,n=110), spontaneous-phasic-contractions/SPC:0.5-2/min, (c) regular-burst-like generation (fish-heart)&slow-tonic vascular-contractions (STC:0.1-0.2/min) after hormones (adrenaline/PGF2alpha/ vasopressin/5-HT), drugs (ouabaine), chemicals (pyrethroids/HgCl2). (d) Rat-blood-pressure (n=70): Transformation of acetylcholine-/ACH-depressor/dR-reaction (&to central-vagal-electrical-stimulation: 55Hz,2ms,2s,5V) after MEG/mercaptoethylguanidine& nicotine into biphasic-dR/pressor=pR, vasopressin-pR-potentiation, 5-HT-dR-inversion into pR after MEG. OQ: What is role of nicotinic (nACH-types alpha-42-beta23), vasopressin- (neuronal-VP1b&vascular-VP1a), 5-HT1-7- (G-protein-coupled: 5-HT1a/5HT2a-c/5-HT7) cell-receptors (a-d) formolecular-oscillatory-mechanisms?
D. UG: Vesical-detrusor&trigone/GP generate spontaneous phasic-contractions (SPC:3.84±0.95/min,n=90). Discovery of slow tonic-contractions of vesical-trigone after stretch (STC:0.30±0.13/min) lead to hypothesis: STC-generation in vesical-trigone after critical-pressure induces detrusor-excitation by formation of burst-plateaus, following micturition. Non-adrenergic/-cholinergic detrusor-neurotransmitter (n=50): Evidence via biological assays incl. nCES – effect of liberation from hormonal substances after neurogenic electrical contractions (10/100Hz,0.3ms,3s) on motor activity of test-preparations hirudo-med./frog-heart/taenia-coli/GP, detrusor&vas-deferens/human-mouse-GP incl. pharmacological analysis. OQ: What kind of ionic(Na-K-Ca)-channels&molecular-oscillations participate in SPC&STC-mechanisms as well of biophysical properties of non-identified neurotransmitters?
CONCLUSION:Implication of physiology in integrative biophysical education could lead to more effective biophysical research, helping for better electro-/pharmaco-/adjuvant psychotherapy of angio-cardiac&genito-urological diseases – arrhythmia/hypertension/ incontinence/overactive-bladder-etc. in context of better health&science in all countries acc. to UNO-Agenda21.
