Mike C. Lawrence
Mike Lawrence originally completed a PhD in theoretical physics at the University of Cape Town. He then transitioned into structural biology, undertaking a post-doctoral period at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK. He currently leads a research group at the Walter+Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne that is endeavouring to understand the molecular detail of how insulin and insulin-like growth factors engage their receptors and effect signalling.
